Summer School 2019, Graz
The EU-China Environmental Law Summer School was held for the first time, in cooperation with the Confucius Institute Graz, at the Faculty of Law of the University of Graz from 11 to 23 July 2019. For almost two weeks 34 students from Beijing, Kunming and Graz could gain a broad insight into the environmental law of the European Union and China and work out specific environmental law issues on the basis of cases. Excursions to Vienna, including a visit to the Constitutional Court and a renowned law firm, as well as to places worth seeing in Styria and a visit to the Styrian Environmental Ombudsman offered an attractive framework programme.
Forthcoming Summer School 2021, Beijing
Based on the very positive feedback on the 2019 summer school from all sides and as the next joint step in the cooperation between Renmin University, the Faculty of Law and the Confucius Institute of the University of Graz, a further Environmental Law Summer School is to be held in Beijing in summer 2021.
