At ClimLaw: Graz, we recently had the pleasure of hosting colleagues from the Catholic University of Croatia on 10th September. Our meetings were not only an opportunity to connect, but also to explore meaningful pathways for collaboration in the fields of climate law, sustainability, and integral ecology.
Together, we:
- Exchanged experiences in leading and managing interdisciplinary programs on environmental ethics, integral ecology, climate law and policy, and human rights.
- Explored institutional practices and policies that integrate sustainability in higher education.
- Strengthened cooperation between the Catholic University of Croatia and the Research Center for Climate Law, ClimLaw: Graz at the University of Graz
- Discussed strategies for climate resilience through theological, legal, and social approaches.
- Looked into creating lasting frameworks for joint teaching, research projects, and summer schools under our Interinstitutional Agreement.
Across meeting, we introduced the work of ClimLaw: Graz, shared research activities, brainstormed new ideas, and explored opportunities for international collaboration in teaching, research, and student engagement.
A heartfelt thank you to Prof. Dr. Zoran Turza, Prof. Dr. Ivano Brstilo Lovrić, and Gabrijela Bajić for their inspiring contributions and fruitful discussions. We had an excellent and enriching time together, and this is just the beginning.
Stay tuned for the exciting collaborations ahead!
