In light of World Environment Day (5 June 2023), ClimLaw: Graz Director, Prof. Oliver Ruppel, has provided an Opinion for "News24" (a English-language South African news website) discussing "Civil disobedience and the climate activist movement: A last resort for action?".
In this piece, Prof Ruppel writes: "In the absence of a global and concerted effort to address climate change, civil disobedience and the climate activist movement seem to be a last resort for some."
