It is with great pleasure that ClimLaw: Graz welcomes Professor Elizabeth Valdés-Miranda Fernández, University of Havana, during her visit to the University of Graz.
Professor Valdés-Miranda Fernández's visit to Graz is part of a collaberation between the University of Graz and the Univeristy of Havana. This collaberation was started in 2020 by ClimLaw: Graz's Dr. Renate Pirstner-Ebner. Given the challenges of Covid the exchanges between the institutions has been limited but now, as restirctions lift worldwide, greater cooperation is possible.
Professor Elizabeth Valdés-Miranda Fernández, is a Professor of International Public Law at the Faculty of Law of the University of Havana. She was previously the Political Counselor for the Deputy Chief of Mission at the Cuban Embassy in Japan. Her expertise in her field is vast and spans a range of interconnected topics.
We look forward to engaging with Professor Valdés-Miranda Fernández and are especially looking forward to her ClimLaw: Graz Roundtable discussion taking place tomorrow, 24 November 2022.
We wish Professor Valdés-Miranda Fernández a wonderful stay in Graz and look forward to hosting her and her colleagues in the future.
