Florian Kohlfürst studied law at the University of Graz. During the course of his studies, he developed a great interest and enthusiasm for the topics of environmental, energy and climate protection law. As part of his diploma thesis, he finally examined innovations for wind turbines in relation to spatial planning and official approval procedures in Austrian law (with a focus on the EU Acceleration Regulation, the EIA Act Amendment 2023 and RED III).
Parallel to the last semesters of his studies, he also worked in a law firm with a relevant focus on the above-mentioned areas of activity.
As a university assistant, he now supports the research center and concentrates his research activities on the areas of environmental, energy and climate protection law with a focus on national law.
