Cuban Environmental Law and Litigation

Dagniselys Toledano, Professor at the Law Faculty of the University of Havana, gave a presentation on 22.5.2025 on the topic “Environmental Law and Litigation in Cuba” at the Round Table ClimLaw. The Round Table took place in the context of the seminar “Energy Law and Climate Protection” under the direction of Renate Pirstner-Ebner and organized by the ClimLaw team. Discussed were instruments and protective mechanisms of Cuban environmental law, such as environmental education, the availability of environmental data and the possibilities of administrative and judicial environmental proceedings. Additionally, Dagniselys Toledano provided two further lessons on Cuban Environmental and Energy Law and Biodiversity Regulations in Cuba.
